Great lower back support during exercise

I’ve had a back injury for over 35 years and I constantly suffer lower back pain. I exercise every day, despite the pain, but it’s oftentimes a struggle. I ordered this back brace to provide some additional support when I go to the gym and I’ve found it to be really effective. It holds everything tight so you feel supported while doing squats, lunges, etc. The brace has elasticated straps that can be adjusted to whatever level of tightness you need. This is definitely helping me and is a very small investment to make in return for the pain relief it provides. I won’t go to the gym now without it.

Back brace

I’ve used this a couple of days now. It does give my back support and relieves some back pain. This belt holds onto itself with velcro or velcro style hook and Loop. Holds well. There is also two elastic bands, one on each side that I assume is to keep it tight. But I’m not sure that the belt can be tightened more that just as how tight you put it on. Feels like it works and it’s not gigantic like most back braces tend to be. If you have lower back pain, it helps. Can be a little hard trying to tighten it up since

Better than I expected

I have worn large back braces for lower back pain that help when I need them, but they are bulky and tend to feel like I’m wearing a corset. I didn’t know what to expect with this belt, since it is much narrower. Surprisingly, it does seem to help with lower back pain to a degree, and also helps alleviate sciatic-type pain. I like that it is thin and stays in place well. I also appreciate the adjustability and the long strips of material to which the velcro adheres. Not very noticeable under clothes, and doesn’t look too outrageous on top of clothes, either- depending on what you’re wearing. If I’ve really thrown my back out, this belt won’t immobilize me the way I need so that my movement is restricted- for that, I’ll keep using my “corsets”. But this is a good alternative for mild to moderate back pain.
