My previous waterproof seat cover for dogs wasn’t quite cutting it because my adorable but clumsy dog, Chili, would always end up in the footwell and then flip the cover up when he climbed back onto the seat, no matter how securely I fastened it. Based on its positive reviews, I decided to try this one, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! Chili loves the option to stand right behind me when he wants, and the zip-up sides have been a game-changer when he gets excited and sticks his head out the window, preventing him from slipping off the side of the seat. I also appreciate the pockets for holding his leash and seat belt clips.

We purchased this because our 16.5-year-old small dog struggles with staying on the backseat. She tends to slide off and fall into the footwell, among other issues. We absolutely love this item! It’s sturdy enough to accommodate all three of our dogs and still allows us to use a dog seatbelt for safety. Our elderly dog no longer falls off the back seat and now rests comfortably during all our car rides, making the trips much more enjoyable for them. It’s a fantastic product.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I just had to share my excitement after installing this seat cover/extender. To my delight, my dog immediately jumped in and settled down. I was initially worried he might not take to it, but it’s quite sturdy and now seems like his own little oasis in the car. 🙂 Since we often go on long car trips, I’m eager to see how this enhances his travel experience!
