The hope jar

Being spiritual, I’m always drawn to anything that’s inspirational. We’re living in troubling times when anxiety and depression are on the rise, so any comfort we can derive is always welcome. These little scrolls are presented in a glass jar with black metal lid (no plastic), which gives them more of a higher end aesthetic. However, I’m not convinced they’re worth nearly $40. Especially when each message is copied from scripture (meaning no creativity or intellectual property involved). However, the high price point doesn’t justify affecting my 5-star rating. Each message is color coded, with the corresponding mood chart on the jar. That’s a neat little characteristic because you’re sure to get a pertinent message to suit your current mood or frame of mind. These tiny scrolls, which are tied with a little gold band, are easy to unwind and read. Ideal for gift giving or just a personal uplifting daily message. Suitable for any gender and all ages. Note that the listing says it comes with a sleek black gift box, but mine did not (and there isn’t one pictured in the listing).

I think this is an excellent idea. love that these little cards get you to read and Bible scripture and be inspired! I got these for my granddaughter who is just learning how to read and is curious about Jesus and asking questions. This is going to make the perfect gift for her. The pieces of paper and the size of the font are easy to read and hold in your hand. The scripture book and chapter isn’t listed, but that doesn’t matter to me. In my opinion, what matters is the message. If you are reading one of the messages, it might spark curiosity in you enough to look it up and read more about the message you just read. Sometimes not having everything handed to you up front keeps you from being too lazy to do some of your own research! I recommend this item and would get it again. Great gift idea!!! This is an amazing idea! I love the color-coded scripture system that helps you memorize verses. All of the scriptures are contained in a small glass jar and are categorized by topic to help you trust God. Each verse is written on durable, colored paper that won’t easily fold or tear. This is an incredible gift to give to friends. I also appreciate the color-coded key that helps you quickly locate verses by topic. There are a total of 90 different verses to memorize. The glass container is nice thick glass, not cheap. This is a great price.
