The OraClose Jaw Strap

This chin strap is easy to put on and does the required job. I will probably purchase it, again as needed.

I have tried many of these devices. They all kinda work. What sets this device apart is that it is white. Why is that a big deal? Because EVERY other similar device is black and will leave a black stain on the sheets. My wife is pissed that the cost of a snore-free night is black stained sheets. We tried to soak the devices in a bleach solution, but that didn’t work. Then she asked the very simple question…. Can you get these things in white? Such an obvious solution to the black staining problem. The only other thing I would recommend the the manufacturer would be to make the Velcro a couple of inches longer to accommodate smaller heads. Also consider creating a hole for your chin. The hole would let your chin protrude and do a better job holding it in place. The device has a tendency to skip down my chin at night. Look at the way military helmets are designed. There chinstrap has a hole to make it more secure.

I’ve been sleeping all night with CPAP for nearly three years now, and have tried numerous different chinstraps in an attempt to allow the CPAP process to function properly. There’s been something wrong with EVERY other chin strap I’ve tried…the cheap Velcro fastening quits holding after only a short time…the strap material and/or the piping material leeches difficult to remove dye stains on my face and WORSE on our nice linen pillows and/or sheets…the piping around the edges comes apart, etc., etc., etc!!

So you can take it from me that this “Priime Siesta” chin strap is without a shadow of a doubt, the very best one out there! There’s been zero dye staining…the piping is strong and not fraying…the material is very flexible and very comfortable to wear and easily adjustable. The VElCRO, in particular, is absolutely the strongest of anything I’ve tried, It’s a pleasure to fir it on and know that it’ll stay put all night. Don’t even try anything else…you’re wasting your time and your money and you’ll simply get frustrated!
