How It Works
Good question! The Original Miniscope works by having 2 curved lenses inside, precisely at the right focal lenght for maximum magnification!
By adjusting the distance between both the lenses but also the object itself, you’ll be able to get a sharp, close-up image.
The distance between the lenses are adjusted by turning the 2 black wheels, one at the very top and one a bit further down. And the distance to the object itself can be adjusted with well…. your hands!
And yes, we can assure you it’s much better than a magnifying glass!

The Nanoscope can zoom 60-120X!
Recommended age
The Nanoscope is suitable for children between the ages of 3-12
But we’ve seen some child-geniuses as young as 2 years old being able to use it, although with some assistance!
